Well here it goes.....

So I thought I'd enter the blogging world starting with showing you all my Halloween costume. It was inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's pop art. Both my sister and I dressed the same for more impact and to say we impressed everyone would be an understatement, it took a lot of time, effort and attention to detail to achieve this look, but it paid off as so many people wanted a photo taken with us. I felt like an A-list celebrity for the night!!

A close up of my face make up. Finished result.

A comical picture of me in the foreground and my sister Sophie
in the background.

In order to create this look, I started off painting on a white base, and to apply the dots I simply got a pencil with a rubber on the end, applied some red lipstick to it and just pressed onto my face, making sure that the dots were evenly spaced. The eye and nose area are quite difficult to do but you just have to take your time. As soon as you have finished the dots, you can start doing the shadowing and black detail. To do this I used a black kohl eye liner pencil , and a black liquid eye liner too.

This is the look we were trying to achieve. This was done by M.A.C cosmetics.

Overall, we had an amazing night dressed as real life pop art girls, I could get used to the attention, I might dress up like this every weekend ;-)
